The concrete equipment firm premiered the new, E-Screed earlier this month, noting it offers the same power and performance as the original Magic Screed, but is powered by a lithium-ion battery as opposed to a gas engine.

Using high-frequency screed vibration, the E-Screed offers uniform distribution across its entire blade length. It comes with a adjustable handles, accepts blades from four to 16 feet and includes a backpack for the battery unit.
